We did not tick all the boxes ,being ex pats and pensioners, and thought at one point we would lose the house which was our pension pot really. Mark never gave up on us and was available when we needed him. He answered every query promptly and that cannot be underestimated. After being denied by our first lender, we were understandably stressed and worried that we wouldn’t be able to secure a mortgage. Tracy reassured us, and worked incredibly hard to find a lender who would accept our application. We met with Clare from the Southsea branch and she walked us through every step of the process, from mortgage principles, illustrations etc. We had all the silly questions in the book, but Clare took the time to explain everything to us and walk us through the process. Mark Hurst was our mortgage advisor and we cannot recommend him enough, his knowledge, experience, skill and expertise within the financial world is outstanding. He made our first time getting a mortgage a breeze, I cannot fault the speed of the process and how quickly he responded to our questions. Mark took the time to sit down with us and go through the whole process with us and at the end of signing the contracts he took the time to explain everything. Paul Janes has done an excellent and conscientious job of managing my money since he took over as my financial advisor and my portfolio has performed well. I am often anxious about financial matters but Paul is patient and kind in answering my questions, and always explains things thoroughly in terms I understand.
